Keyboard shortcuts
We've followed accessibility guidelines for this site. We've tried to use the first letter of the menu item. If that was already used then a succeeding letter in the word is used.
The modifier key for each browser is different. For Firefox the modifier is ALT (e.g. to go home press ALT-h). Some versions of IE will require you to press ENTER at the end of the key sequence.
Opera lets you go into accessibility mode by pressing Shift-Escape and then you can press the key. See Opera's documentation for more information.

Printing
There are no printable views because we use CSS to reformat the pages when printing. Take a look at print preview.
Font size
We set no absolute font sizes so you can use your browser's zoom feature. On Firefox use Control and the plus or minus keys (or move the mouse scroll wheel while holding down conrol) to zoom. In Opera use 0 to zoom in and 9 to zoom out, 6 to reset to normal. Opera even zooms the images! In IE go to the View menu item and press the Text Size item. Yes, it's inconvenient in IE.
"The site looks strange in my browser"
This site uses web standards such as XHTML and CSS. We've taken steps to ensure the validity of the technolgies. Some older browsers do not support CSS. Because the underlying XHTML logically describes the layout of the documents, the content is still accessible but plain. We've taken steps to see that they "degrade gracefully".
If you are using Netscape 4.x or IE do yourself a favor and update to Firefox (or any other standards compliant browser such as Opera which is now free) or accept that using non standard ancient software will put you at some disadvantage.
