About us
Rockhopper Technologies has been involved with object technologies (Smalltalk, C++, Objective C) since 1986 and with Java training and consulting in particular since 1995.
Our instructors all have advanced degrees and practical hands on industry experience. They are all Sun certified Java programmers.
Dr. Gene De Lisa is our course author. We develop all of our materials. Nothing is outsourced. His first degree is in education and he holds a NJ state teaching certificate. He has been programming since 1982 in a wide variety of environments and industries. In 1995 he authored the world's first Java course and since that time has devoted his efforts to ceveloping, mentoring and training in Java Technologies.

What's a Rockhopper?
The Rockhopper Penguin is an amazing bird. They will stop at nothing to accomplish their goals. They will repeatedly attempt to scale steep cliffs and overcome great obstacles in order to come ashore.

The colors you see on this site are the Rockhopper penguin's colors (black and white of course, but they have red eyes and a yellowish crest).
